These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Jazz, an AI personal assistant operated by Jack Dempsey ("we," "us," "our"). By using Jazz, you agree to these Terms.
Jazz is an AI-powered personal assistant that helps you manage your schedule, communications, gatherings, and daily tasks. Jazz connects to services like Google Calendar and Gmail with your permission to provide contextual, personalized assistance.
You sign in to Jazz using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use Jazz.
Jazz uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to generate responses, draft messages, and make suggestions. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any actions Jazz takes on your behalf, including emails sent, events created, and invitations delivered.
We do our best to make Jazz helpful and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free. Jazz is a tool to assist you, not a replacement for your own judgment.
Jazz integrates with third-party services including Google (Calendar, Gmail, Sign-In), Apple (Calendar, Reminders via EventKit), and Anthropic (Claude AI). Your use of these services through Jazz is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies:
When you create a gathering through Jazz, invitees will receive SMS or email messages containing your name, the event details, and a link to RSVP. You are responsible for ensuring you have a reasonable basis to contact the people you invite. Jazz provides opt-out mechanisms for recipients (reply STOP to any SMS).
Jazz is provided "as is." We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or to address security issues. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jazz and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:
You may stop using Jazz and delete your account at any time by contacting support@heyjazz.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm other users or the service itself.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Jazz app or via email. Your continued use of Jazz after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Jazz shall be resolved in the courts of California.
