How Jazz uses text messages

When you receive SMS from Jazz

Jazz sends text messages in the following situations:

Gathering invitations — when a host invites you to an event
RSVP confirmations and updates about gatherings you've joined
Scheduling coordination — when Jazz helps coordinate a time with you on behalf of a Jazz user
Time-sensitive notifications you've opted into

How you give consent

You provide consent to receive SMS from Jazz in one of two ways:

By signing up for Jazz and providing your phone number during account creation
By opting in to notifications through the Jazz app settings

If you receive a message from Jazz without having signed up (for example, a gathering invitation), that first message serves as your notice. You can immediately reply STOP to opt out and you will not receive any further messages.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity and notification preferences. Jazz does not send marketing or promotional messages.

STOP — Opting out

Reply STOP to any message from Jazz to immediately unsubscribe from all SMS. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. You can also manage SMS preferences within the Jazz app.

HELP — Support

Reply HELP to any message from Jazz to receive support contact information. You will receive a single reply with instructions on how to reach us.
